You buy BillyChip

You purchase BillyChip from your favourite high street outlets like coffee shops, fast food restaurants and convenience stores. Keep the chip in your bag, pocket or wallet for the next time you see someone sleeping rough. 

You hand out a BillyChip

Give BillyChip to someone experiencing homelessness to be redeemed in any participating outlet for takeaway food and drink, clothing, provisions for pets and much more.
 

BillyChip can be redeemed for food & drink

It can then be exchanged for a minimum of a hot or cold takeaway drink of choice or even dog food many outlets offer more but this depends on each store.


Outlets get money back

We credit your business account to cover the cost of items provided against redeemed chips, so taking part won’t cost you a penny!

We fund other Homeless Charities

We are a non-profit social enterprise, which means every time you buy BillyChip, you are helping raise funds for local charities and projects in your community that provide outreach support, mental health support, long-term accommodation and pathways out of homelessness.

  • How much does it cost to join?

    It’s free to join the scheme! We send you everything you will need to get started, we only charge you for the chips you have sold and pay you for any redemptions.

  • How do I join the scheme?

    If you are a business looking to join the scheme, click on  "Outlets" at the top of our site and follow the simple steps! 

  • Do I need a smart phone to sign up?

    You can sign up with a Phone, Tablet or Computer. Your account is web-based so once you have registered you can use it on any device.



  • Where can I find my account?

    Once you have registered by following the above process, visit www.billychip.app and log in.

  • How do we get paid for BillyChips we sell?

    We invoice you £2 through the accounts system for each chip sold. 

  • How do you get paid for redeemed chips?

    We credit you £1 through the account system for each chip redeemed, this is credited through your invoice balance. 

  • Can chains or franchises sign up to be part of the scheme?

    Yes absolutely! You can sign up for an account as an outlet and have your invoices sent to a separate accounting address.

  • What kind of outlets can sign up?

    We want to partner with as many outlets as possible, if you serve hot and cold takeaway drinks then you can join us. Sadly, we don’t accept pubs or bars as we wouldn’t want to put anyone who is suffering with addiction in a compromising situation.

  • Can I stock BillyChips if i don't serve hot beverages?

    Unfortunately not, if you have a business that you’d like to support BillyChip through please don’t hesitate to get in touch to see how we can work together.

  • How will people know im part of the BillyChip scheme?

    We not only have the QR code on the chips linking to our outlet directory but we provide window stickers in our starter packs. We also heavily support our outlets on our social media platforms. Our PR and Marketing team are ready to make the most of each sign-up for our supporters.
